Young Echo Sound feat. Wetware
21 June @ 10:00 pm BST
Young Echo Sound is back at Exchange on Thursday 21st June, featuring performances from Young Echo collective residents plus very special guests all the way from New York City, Wetware..
Wetware build on the legacy of industrial music fused with confrontational performance. Their debut LP Automatic Drawing on Dais Records has been proclaimed as “hallucinatory evocation of both noise and dance traditions, a dark tour of an industrial dreamland”. Vocalist Roxy Farman steals audience’s attention immediately, using her body in tandem with her voice as a weaponized vehicle for the duo’s anxiety filled performance. Matthew Morandi cut his teeth in the electronic music world through his solo tech-industrial project Jahiliyya Fields and as a member of Inhalants (L.I.E.S. Records). The synergy that developed between Farman and Morandi has been explosive. Wetware’s live antics and behaviour has caused alarm amongst their local audiences, earning them a reputation of an incredible live act.
We’re very happy to have them at Young Echo for their Bristol debut performance and look forward to seeing you there!
