Dillinja’s Valve Soundsystem is rightly lauded as legendary in the annuls of drum & bass, with so many memorable nights and lineups powered by the incredible sound and so many venues shaken by its power.

The recorded imprint Valve Recordings, one of the most legendary drum & bass labels and home to so many tunes that soundtracked those nights and so many moments returns with its first new release in a number of years and they couldn’t have picked a better and more iconic track to return with.

It’s been 22 years since Dillinja dropped Hard Noize and the original still sounds so fresh and still sends dancefloors into a frenzy whenever it drops. That intro is just so unforgettable and when the drop kicks in, it causes chaos every time.

Remixing such a special track is no mean feat but you know that Dillinja and Valve knew what they are doing when they entrusted one of the most revered talents in drum & bass history to give Hard Noize their own take in the track.

Enter the one and only Break, who has turned a Dillinja’s anthem into one of his own. This tune has been causing damage for a while now and finally gets the release it deserves, what a way to signal the return of Valve Recordings. The intro is still in place and the track remains faithful to the original classic but injects Breaks own vibe into proceedings with a swirling bassline and those drums remaining as hard as ever and the results are breathtaking.

Hard Noize (Break Remix) is out on May 1st and is backed by the Break tune Tubes which is another undeniably hard track and signals to the world that Valve is back and it means serious business again. This is drum & bass history right here and it sounds immense.

Pre-order from Dillinja’s bandcamp here.
