Birmingham collective Listening Sessions return with their second release from a variety of rising artists. Representing some of the city’s exciting newcomers, it’s great to see the crew continue to push and promote a range of artists through not only their records, but also by continuing to organise events.
Featuring 6 tracks from the likes of Skudkid, Slaine Ft Natty D and Arttu, the EP encompasses a wide range of styles within the drum and bass spectrum. Due for release this Friday (25th October) it showcases a slice of 0121’s unique and vibrant underground music scene.
Head over to SeekSickSound to peep the premiere of Slaine – Reson8 (Krow remix) and if you like what you’re hearing, head over to their socials. The release will be available exclusively from listeningsessions.bandcamp.com/ on 25th of October and all major online retailers shortly after.
Lara started out at the age of 16 as a blogger, setting up her own platform, MakeItGood which ran for 5 years, featuring mixes and interviews with Dubstep artists in collaboration with FatKidOnFire.
“With over 6 years experience working in music promotion, I feel so glad to be running UKBM again, creating more space for new comers and talented artists. It’s amazing to be able to promote and support Bass culture!”
