#ThrowbackThursday: Sticky ft. Tubby T – Tales From the Hood

Back in the early ’00’s, Sticky should have been nicknamed ‘Midas’, his touch instantly turned any track into listening gold, tunes such as ‘Triplets‘, ‘Booo‘ featuring Ms Dynamite and ‘$tush‘ ft.  Stush Dollar Sign made a huge impact on UK Garage at the time and it would be fair to say, also helped to open up the commercial awareness of the UK Garage genre.

I revisit this track every Summer without exception and like a true Brit, by posting this now, I’m still trying to cling onto the sunny days and outright refuse to accept it’s almost Winter.

Featuring Tubby T (RIP) this track was released in 2002 and conveys a positive message which hasn’t aged a day, be true to your purpose over material gain any day, all day, err’yday.
