Akul – Listen Up (Finespun Recordings) [UKBM Premiere]

As Australian label Finespun Recordings prepare to release their second V.A comp, we premiere the warping & weighty opening track ‘Listen Up’ by Akul

The next instalment of our UKBM Premiere series takes us down under to Australia where Finespun Recordings are readying themselves for their brand new Various Artists compilation.

Entitled Finespun 002, this project from the Sydney-based label is nothing short of immense. An incredibly well constructed, multi-genre compilation with fully explores UKG, Breaks, Jungle, House & Rave territories with devastating force and a touch of class.

It features a bunch of home-grown Australian producers such as Myledo, Knuckle and Akul as well a track from the ever rising DJ Sunroof, fresh from his output on labels such as Lobster Theremin3 Feet Deep.

Today we are super happy to share with you and premiere Listen Up from the also Sydney-based and aforementioned Akul, a truly heavyweight UKG banger, which will make your feet move with it’s skippy 2-step rhythms and blow your head with it’s huge warping basslines, both in equal and exceeding measures.
