Back And Forth with DJ Rap

We take a look at the latest smash from DJ Rap, her new track ‘Back & Forth’, released on her own Propa Talent label.

DJ Rap has been undergoing a true renaissance with her music over the past few years and her musical output is as consistent as ever, with a quality release coming out every month recently, further enhancing her reputation for putting out essential Drum & bass and Jungle tunes.

Her latest release Back And Forth is another prime example of this and shows Rap is only getting better and better and the anthemic vibe of this track is sure to be a firm choice in live sets over the coming months.

After a pulsating and frenetic opening that builds and builds, only letting up to ease the tension with some choice sublime vocals, the track explodes with an energetic flourish and some prime grooves that gives the track a truly euphoric feeling. The energy levels do not drop at all throughout the track’s duration and there is a definite cinematic feel here with the results being nothing less than incredible.

DJ Raps standing within Jungle and Drum & Bass is unsurpassed of course but the fact that she is still making brilliant tracks like Back And Forth and adding to her vast musical legacy is not only great to see but inspirational as well and the four and half minutes of pure D&B on offer here is bliss for the junglists out there.

Back & Forth is available to buy/stream here.
