Fearless Dread return with debut on Plantpower

UK Dubstep duo set to release their second record on Foamplate’s heavyweight imprint.

Following their hugely well received debut release on Juan Forté last year, UK Dubstep duo Fearless Dread return with their highly anticipated follow up record, this time on Foamplate‘s Plantpower imprint.

The duo, made up of Chuckman and Arkwright, have made their name through their superb productions. They use their love of the dark Garage and early Dubstep of the early 00’s to create their own thing, a sound which carries an air of nostalgia whilst remaining fresh and completely new, executed in devastating fashion.

The new record is no exception. A monstrous single featuring tracks Violator & New Horizons. The A side definitely falls in the ‘classic sound’ category, with its all-consuming, wobbling bassline and powerful yep skippy halftime percussion. The B side arrives on a UKG flex with its 2-step break, yet comes with all the weight and sub that you would expect. This one wouldn’t look out of place on a piece of coloured wax with Big Apple written on it.

Out February 28th but available to pre-order now over at the Plantpower Bandcamp as well as the usual retailers; RedEye, Unearthed.
