Lara debuts on Peachy Sounds with ‘Common Sense’

Brighton-based artist and UKBM’s own Lara set to make debut release on up and coming UK label with hard hitting and beautiful 3 track EP

Brighton-based artist and UKBM’s own Lara is set to make her production debut with Common Sense, a 3 track EP on UK label Peachy Sounds.

Originally from London, Lara has built her name as one of the founders of UKBM and her monthly residency on Subtle Radio. Her debut EP is a perfect blend of hard hitting and beautiful, blurring the boundaries of Dubstep, Grime & Hip Hop and has garnered support and love from the likes of Sicaria Sound and Marcus Nasty.

Opening track Many Lives bursts into life with its Middle-eastern influenced Grimey strings and weighty bass and percussion combinations. Next up Common Sense flips the vibe with a more laid back blissful feel, complimented perfectly by the soulful vocals of Sutty. Notice Now wraps things up nicely with an eyes down, stripped back & meditational mover.

Make no mistake, this is a wicked debut and we can’t wait to see what Lara has in store for us next.

Common Sense is out this Saturday, pre-order and buy here.
