Luke Sandler to launch ‘Mind Of Ours’ label with new EP

Originally established as a club night with a focus on supporting mental health charities, London-based outfit Mind Of Ours now turn record label and are set for their inaugural release, with their strongly rooted club and rave foundations instilled into the grooves of the vinyl.

Entitled We Go From Here EP, the record comes from the exciting rising producer and Mind Of Ours co-founder Luke Sandler, who has previously released on labels Eagervision Records & Of Onyx and amazingly, produced the entire project whilst simultaneously working on the NHS frontline during this Covid-19 pandemic as a doctor.

The five tracks on the project provide a perfect cross section of UK club culture, dipping into House, Techno & Breakbeat territories with accomplished expertise. Opening track Tommy Hilfiger, a Balearic-inspired lo-fi house x breaks hybrid, shuffles, bumps and bleeps with nostalgic delight. Next up is Don’t Think, an absolutely epic, uplifting and goose-bump giving Breakbeat worldie which is then matched perfectly by the title track We Go From Here, which was featured recently by DJ Mag.

Flip the record and you will find Synapse, a track much more informed by Techno traditions with its militant 4×4 pattern blending nicely with it’s gritty groove and hypnotising digital arpeggios. Things are then wrapped up by final track Cara, our pick of the bunch. Beautiful, haunting and utterly emotional, its an absolute wonder of a track which will draw you in and make you lose yourself with it’s melodic keys and relentless vocal loops.

This is without doubt one of our favourite releases of the year so far and we can’t wait to see what they have in store next.
