Minder – Lips (Sneaker Social Club)

We premiere the rough and ready first track lifted off the debut cassette release from both artist and label

One thing in particular that gets us very excited here at UKBM is a brand new Sneaker Social Club release….and their latest upcoming project is no different.

The Berlin-based label have undeniably established themselves as one of the premiere bass-related electronic music labels over recent years with a plethora of multi-genre releases from a host of elite producers in the game right now.

After years of releasing wax, they now turn their attention to the cassette format with the debut release from Minder who deliver a no hold barred, old skool tape pack style album entitled Telepathy.

The mysterious new producer perfectly captures and distils the essence of an early 90’s UK rave, not only with the nostalgic tape pack format, but also with his own authentically raw and gritty production style. Perfectly stitching together bad breaks, heavy basslines and MC samples, creating an utterly transportive experience.

Today we premiere opening track Lips which perfectly encapsulates the above. Big, bad and heavy!

Telepathy is out 27th August. Buy here.
