Albion Collective’s forthcoming 004 release see the label welcome UK produce Glume and Slovenia-based bass artist FLO to their roster. Glume has been making waves within the Bristol and UK music scene with original productions that always make their way onto many a sound system!
The A side ‘Thug’ appropriates your attention as oriental string arpeggios whirl up ponderous relentless drums. Rhythmic yet repetitive, the rolling drums and the numerous musical elements gel together effortlessly in this track opener.
For the flip side his fierce production style is joined by FLO, who’s innovative approach to Dubstep has yielded support from the likes of Noisia, Mala and Joe Nice among others. On top of his game, accomplished and highly regarded producer/dj Sepia re-works the track from Glume and FLO ‘Skateland’ with a ridiculously remix.
Lara started out at the age of 16 as a blogger, setting up her own platform, MakeItGood which ran for 5 years, featuring mixes and interviews with Dubstep artists in collaboration with FatKidOnFire.
“With over 6 years experience working in music promotion, I feel so glad to be running UKBM again, creating more space for new comers and talented artists. It’s amazing to be able to promote and support Bass culture!”
