Hemlock Recordings returns with Beneath’s ‘On Tilt EP’

Legendary London-based label returns after four year hiatus with brand new project from the No Symbols head honcho

Four years since 2017’s Unruly by Ploy, Hemlock Recordings have brought an end to their hiatus with the announcement of their next release, a six track EP from Beneath entitled On Tilt EP.

The legendary London-based label, run by Untold, have established their name through the years as one of the leading labels for experimental UK club music, providing a home for artists such as James Blake, Pearson Sound, Hodge, Bruce and many more.

On Tilt EP will mark Beneath’s debut release on the imprint and his first release since his 2018 Cloudy on A14, which followed a multitude of releases on labels such as Keysound Recordings, Tectonic, Berceuse Heroique and more including his own No Symbols.

The EP proves both label and artist to be a perfect fit, with Beneath’s signature style which fits somewhere between UK Funky, Dubstep & UK Techno sitting beautifully within the genre-defying, forward thinking Hemlock aesthetic.

It’s a wonderfully crafted six tracker. Densely layered, dark and truly innovative and most perhaps importantly, a welcome return for both artist and label.

On Tilt EP is out May 14th. Pre-order here.
