The Bass Drop – Late November

Five releases dropping at the end of November that will keep your systems warm from the drop in temperature.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The weather has taken a turn for the colder, seeing a resurgence in scarves, beanie hats, boiling kettles’ and electric blankets.  But producers are continually dropping hot releases and here are five coming at the end of November to warm your systems.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

NATHAN FAKE  –  BLIZZARDS REMIXES

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Blizzards album released early in 2020 went down as a great listen.  Now we are treated to some great remixes by Nathan Fake and choice producers joining in the form of Irene Dresel and Afrodeutsche, who lends her vocals to stripped back version of Cry Me a Blizzard to create an ethereal listen.  The live version of Torchsong is also a wonder to behold.  Beauty from the outset, Fake incorporates remixes with meaning, including his own homage to Orbital who the Norfolk raised producer grew up listening to.  Listen / Buy[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

LSN  –  FOCUS LIFE ENERGY

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”12630″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Heavy gruffly bass rolls under some quite different and visionary percussion.  Choice vocals enter the frame to build a feel of futuristic tribal happenings.  Each track differs but the high paced roll continues throughout.  Solid tracks to listen through as an EP or to borrow as part of a set.  First releasing with Artikal Music in 2018, LSN continue their brilliant partnership with this latest EP.  Listen / Buy[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

DEEKAPZ  –  SUPER FUNK

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Uplifting joy running throughout the release as you experience the excitement of the producers rediscovering sounds from decades ago and moulding them into new composites of their own.  Imagine a new version of Beverly Hills Cop and the type of music that you would want to accompany the escapades. The Brazilian outfit delved back into the days of Baile funk when pirate radio was the only outlet for the music.  Their aim to bring back the sounds in cleaner press was set out by label Selva Discos as they reminisce of past pioneers.  Listen / Buy[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

DAMIAN’S GHOST  –  ALL I REMEMBER  /  ON THE MIST

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Clean rollers that take you on a journey with tracks that continually grow and morph with un-nerving ease.  These tracks have the ability to keep you in a dance groove, but also double up as great journey or adventure sounds.  Releasing digitally and on 10 inch with the trusted Astrophonica, the Portsmouth producer pushes passion and pleasure.  Listen / Buy[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]

SWEET MIX KIDS  –  DEEP ENOUGH (JAYHOOD REMIX)

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”12631″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A pulsating remix of the summer smash by Sweet Mix Kids.  Extracted from their album Radio With Pictures, Jayhood has reworked Deep Enough to add a welcome variation to the already strong, synth pop led, original by the New Zealand based duo.  Keeping the step up-tempo, Jayhood injects looping skill with Miami touches for this club stomper releasing with Believe InternationalListen / Buy[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
