The next instalment of our UKBM Premiere series sees us linking up once again with one of our favourite labels in the game right now as they prepare for the imminent release of their latest project.
The label is WesternLore. Run by AlexEveson, the imprint has been churning out innovative and superb high tempo music since their first record in 2017 and have gave homes to the productions of many talented artists such as CocoBryce, Thugwidow, Crypticz and EarlGrey who released last years InfiniteLoopEP , from which we premiered the incredible Wiretap.
Their newest project is the second volume of their Blunted Breaks compilations. Featuring tracks from both label regulars as well as some new faces, it’s executed in devastating fashion and picks up exactly where Vol. 1 left us. As the label puts it, “this second instalment continues the theme, drawing from new and established talent alike, to create a myriad tapestry of melodic, sub saturated, break driven club cuts.”
Today we are happy to share with you an exclusive premiere of one of our choice cuts from the compilation from one of our favourite producers right now, Welsh artist Thugwidow and his utterly cosmic, otherworldly, transportive, Jungle infused Peter. A track which with it’s hypnotising, trance-inducing woodwind-like sonics leads you through an awe-inspiring universe of rising and falling storm-like breaks.
