A selection multi-genre club nights handpicked by Earful Of Wax

With such a broad range of genres known to sit within the bass spectrum nowadays, many parties and promoters appear to be moving away from booking genre specific line-ups. Not long ago, you could expect to see most flyers billed with acts known for playing within the boundaries of a specific style, House & Techno or Drum & Bass for example. There are still plenty of these parties to choose from today, but a growing trend is appearing in the form of of events which, at a glance, do not necessarily conform to a particular sound.
For a deeper insight into this you’ll have to ask the promoters about their endless hard work behind the scenes, but one would hope that it’s down to a combination of giving their bookings free-reign to play what they want and the party goer of today’s love of the “everything in-between” on the rave continuum. Genre’s like UK Garage, 140 and Jungle have once again come full circle and are currently at the forefront of those party’s attempting to offer something a bit different, within the extremely competitive electronic music events world.
We’ve handpicked a selection of upcoming picks we feel fit the mould and that of course look particularly fun, props to the artwork crew:
