#ThrowbackThursday: dBridge & Vegas – True Romance

Originally released back in 2004 and produced by 2 of the then 4 members of Drum & Bass supercrew, Bad Company (the other two being Fresh and Maldini). ‘True Romance’ was the B side of the debut release on the Metalheadz sub-label, ‘Metalheadz Platinum’.

This was originally released back in 2004 and produced by dBridge & Vegas who were, at the time, half of the Drum & Bass supercrew, Bad Company (the other two being Fresh and Maldini). ‘True Romance’ was the B side of the debut release on the Metalheadz sub-label, ‘Metalheadz Platinum’.

If you were going to Drum & Bass raves at the time of the release you’ll be familiar with this track and definitely would have noticed it was a staple in pretty much everyone’s set. The rolling sub bass, magical lead melody and grinding riff are all sewn together with light and perfectly spaced percussion. Absolute winner. And to this day has never gotten old.
