Situated in Poznan, Poland and comprising of a crew of 6 likeminded & passionate bass enthusiasts, Dungeon Beats is a platform, agency, label & event currently flying the flag for Dubstep, 140 & underground bass music in Eastern Europe.
In it’s original form, Dungeon Beats was an event series which held it’s very first event at the legendary and now closed 8 Bitow Club and quickly grew in reputation and stature, putting on high quality parties and hosting some of the best names in the scene with the goal to “activate the local dubstep scene, promote sounds of 140bpm and familiarise the audience with the most interesting artists in the world”.
Since then they have levelled up and evolved into a multi faceted entity. A booking agency with the likes of Hebbe, Leon Switch & LSN on their books. A label, which celebrated it’s first release earlier this year with the heavy V.A compilation Volume 1, which we covered here at UKBM, and also as a deadly DJ collective holding down the Dungeon Beats Sessions show on London-based station Subtle Radio.
Next up for the crew is the 17th instalment of their much loved event series at their spiritual home, Projekt LAB, Poznan on November 12th. This time with Dubstep royalty J:Kenzo & N-Type headlining, it’s no doubt going to be another roadblock and an event not too be missed!
