Established in 2008, the annual music festival held in Croatia has become known and loved as one of the best festivals in the world and certainly the biggest for bass-orientated music, in particular Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Grime, Dub Reggae, Hip Hop and more.

For the first time, Outlook brings it’s formidable programming and irresistible sound to the UK with it’s first ever festival on home soil, taking place from 30th June – 3rd July at Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire.

As the festival approaches, we take a look at 8 acts you should keep your eyes on at Outlook UK.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

SKREAM

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”13208″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Skream is an artist that needs very little introduction. Born & bred in Croydon, he is well known for pioneering the Dubstep genre before making the decision to focus his artistic output on other styles. Almost a decade after that decision and his last appearance at the festival, Skream returns to Outlook, causing waves of excitement and anticipation for a set which will feel very much like a homecoming.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

CHLOÉ ROBINSON

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”13227″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Having changed her name from Barely Legal last year, Chloé Robinson is an artist that has been evolving and refining over the years. Historically known for her very wicked, varied and bass heavy DJ sets, spanning grime to drum and bass, the London-based artist has now moved her DJ sets towards more House & Techno territory as well as production, both to excellent effect. This will be her first Outlook appearance under the new name and we’re sure it won’t be the last.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row_content” css=”.vc_custom_1647194814513{padding-right: 15px !important;padding-left: 15px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]

FABIO & GROOVERIDER

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”13212″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]When you think of Drum & Bass and Jungle, you immediately think of Fabio & Grooverider. The two dons have been at the top of the game since the sound’s inception in the early 90’s and their form & stature have not wavered since. If you want a lesson in all things breakbeat, from stone cold classics to innovative new productions, then you can guarantee you’ll get it here.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row_content” css=”.vc_custom_1647194823155{padding-right: 15px !important;padding-left: 15px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]

ANZ

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”13213″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Manchester-based artist and NTS Radio resident Anz has been on a meteoric rise over the last few years. Her breathless & eclectic DJ sets dazzle and effortlessly blend between anything from UKG to Jungle to House to Footwork and so much more. She’s also enjoyed heralded releases on labels such as Ninja Tune, Hessle Audio, 2 B Real and her own OTMI imprint. Her sets are truly not be missed.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row_content” css=”.vc_custom_1647194832676{padding-right: 15px !important;padding-left: 15px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]

COOPS

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”13214″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Coops is one of the best voices in UK Hip Hop right now. The High Focus affiliate made his debut on the label with single That Jazz and has gone to release 3 acclaimed albums with the Brighton based outfit. His music perfectly rides the line between nostalgia and originality and is always layered with infectious & thought provoking lyrical work. Impressively, he can also boast that his first ever live performance was at London’s O2 Arena, supporting hip hop legend Nas. Not many can say that![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

BXKS

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”13215″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Luton-born rapper BXHS is very quickly rising through the ranks. She announced herself on the scene in 2018 with an impressive appearance on Mixtape Madness before delivering her killer 2021 mixtape Full Time Daydreamer. Her unique sound is self described as ‘Alternative Grime, drawing on multiple influences and has been praised by some of the best in the game such as Grime legend Skepta.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

HENY G

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”13216″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]If you’re having a conversation about the best Dubstep DJ’s, Heny G should always be part of it. Making his first appearance at Outlook, the now Berkshire-based artist, made his name in Dubstep’s early days with his soulful productions, incredible DJ sets and his links with West London crew Anti Social Entertainment. His sets and art has evolved and we can’t wait for him to showcase it this year.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

LARA

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”13217″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]and lastly, another Outlook debutant, this one is the form of UKBM’s own LARA. With over a decade’s worth of experience in the music industry she is certainly an artist in the ascendancy. Through her devastatingly heavyweight and often dub-leaning sets she is quickly becoming known as one of the most exciting DJ’s in the underground circuit and is a trusted resident at Brighton’s legendary event & institution, The Mine.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
