FILTER DREAD – SPACE BEAMS EP

Berlin-based label Sneaker Social Club has always been ahead of the curb, releasing cutting-edge, explorative and genre-bending music, their latest is no exception. It comes from London-based Filter Dread who returns to the label with an icy cold and futuristic collection of grime, breaks and bass-infected tracks. Buy/listen.
MANI FESTO – PATHFINDER EP

Mani Festo’s form could be likened to the Terminator’s desire to kill John Connor….it will not be stopped. The latest evidence comes via his brand new EP on Shall Not Fade which serves as his solo debut on the imprint. Heavy kicks, crashing breaks and techno & hardcore influences which give an overwhelming sense of doom in the best of ways possible. Buy/listen.
MAIN PHASE – TREAT ME RIGHT

Undoubtedly one of the best producers in the UKG scene right now, Copenhagen-based Main Phase makes his solo debut on INSTINCT’s eponymous label with a brand new 5 track EP. Is this his best work to date? Quite possibly. Expect deep basslines set against slick 2-step and ragga vocals as well as Niche bassline influenced, 4×4 slammers. Listen / Buy
PEAKY BEATS – PARADISE FALLS EP

Leeds-based producer Peaky Beats provides another impressive entry in his ever-growing catalogue with the latest edition of Lobster Theremin’s white label series. Entitled Paradise Falls, it shows a seemingly new string to the producer’s bow of talents, focusing on the beautifully raw side of jungle, drum and bass & 2-step and comes equipped with an explosive remix from Tim Reaper.
