Its not been long since their hugely well received debut release, an outstanding EP from which we premiered EL-B’s remix of Ease Up George’s Eternally, but Southend-On-Sea label Practical Rhythms are at it again with the impending release of their next record.
Run by Tom Speirs, the imprint sticks with the same winning formula as the first release. 2 original tracks from different artists, this time we have Highrise and Bailey Ibbs, with both remixed by 2 different artists, this time the legendary Jeremy Sylvester & Soul Mass Transit System. As expected the results are lethal.
From the new EP, today we are very happy to present and premiere for you Bailey Ibbs’ track Talk 2 Me which can only be described as a skippy, shuffling, bubbling work of joy. Mastering the old school sound with some new school flair, the track is quintessentially UKG and in my opinion, this very promising producers finest work to date. Watch that vocal too!
Practical Rhythms Vol 2 is available to order now via Bandcamp and all other retailers.
