Up next in our UKBM Premiere series we take a look towards Foto Sounds, the growing label run by Bristol-based artists and SWU.FM residents Unkey and Khanum.
Founded in 2019 and hosting music from artists such as Itmek, 11th Hour and Unkey himself, the imprint is quickly establishing a particular forward thinking and irresistible sound.
The next release comes from London-based producer Bidl, who makes his debut on the label with his Lockdown London EP, a project which fits perfectly with the distinct, dark and heavy aesthetic shared with the label.
Today we premiere the opening track from the EP, Swivel. With its ultra low gliding subs, shuffling experimental production providing the perfect introduction into what is a truly solid body of work.
