Run by Tom Practical, part of the the Gather family and based in Southend-On-Sea, Practical Rhythms is set to burst on to the UKG scene with their debut record.
Its been a few months since it’s sister label Practical Reissues offered up their first release with 4 much loved Jeremy Sylvester classics under different aliases beautifully remastered but this time its something brand new.
Practical Rhythms 001 is star-studded to say the least, featuring original productions from UKG master Sky Joose and his track Garage Bunnies and German new-gen producer Ease Up George with Eternally, a pair of top drawer 2-Step tracks both harmonious in their super skippy & infectious percussion, deep basslines and clever use of vocal sampling.
Both tracks also come with remixes from the ever rising, talented Holloway and UKG legend El-B who completely flips Eternally and turns it into a blissful 4/4 bouncer yet still keeps the vibe and essence of the original.
Today we proudly premiere that El-B remix and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Practical Rhythms 001 is available to pre-order now via Bandcamp, RedEye, White Peach etc.
