As we wave goodbye to whats been a turgid 2020, we welcome in the new year with the first UKBM Premiere of 2021.
It comes from Essex-based producer JSM and his beautifully heavy and eerily haunting track Midnight Heist, lifted from his brand new and forthcoming Dial Tone EP on also Essex-based label Low End Music.
It’s been a strong few months for JSM having released the absolutely huge Mic Check 1, 2 / Stomp Dub on Transient Audio and Steppa, a collaboration with Tenor Youthman on Dubbing Sun. These releases adding to his back catalogue along with outings on Scrub A Dub & Foundation Audio.
Up next though is his absolutely wicked 4 track project Dial Tone EP which is perhaps his best to date. The whole release carries a deeply eerie vibe, casting an almost Twilight Zone-esque aesthetic. As expected with a JSM release it’s also big, bad and heavy. His masterfully constructed percussion sings loudly throughout and everything is rounded off perfectly with a huge remix of the title track from Spanish man of the moment Bukkha.
Today we premiere for you Midnight Heist, enjoy!
Dial Tone EP is out 11th January. Pre-order/buy here.
