On Monday we brought you the news that Luke Sandler’s inaugural release on his Mind of Our label was dropping this Friday, today we are hugely excited to premiere the opening track.
Entitled Tommy Hilfiger, it’s a perfect embodiment of what this project is all about, an amalgamation of various strains of UK club culture which virtually transports the listener to a dark, misty and love-filled dancefloor with people of all backgrounds, an idea reflected by a voice sampled in the opening seconds of the track, “you get all kind of people in hardcore or jungle or drum and bass”.
Balearic house, breaks and lo-fi influences are all present here and blended perfectly to potent effect, setting things up perfectly for what we consider a pretty much perfect release.
