Dusty Ohms set to release new EP ‘Amongst The Noise’

The London-based beatmaker steps up to label 4NC¥ with his new EP ‘Among The Noise’, due for release on 8th June

Dusty Ohms steps up to label 4NC¥ with his new EP ‘Among The Noise‘, due for release on 8th June. The EP features 4 tracks and showcases the clear evolution of his production style. No stranger to creating, Dusty Ohms has been making music in various different forms over the past 15 years, honing his craft as he goes.

The EP opens with ‘Jenga Hands‘, blended detuned chords, staggered drums, dusty bass and peppered with chopped screwed vocals all make this track a perfect opener. The second track ‘Micro Dot’ is built to be played (ideally) on a big sound system with plenty of low end.

‘Ain’t Your Tree’ stands out with its thumping 808 bass and jangling synths alongside some skippy drum patterns and intermittent vocal samples. Staying true to the times, ‘Napalm Smile’ brings a more melancholic vibe. Dark and dusty drums alongside a wonky synth line create a hypnotic groove within the track and this one is my favourite from the release.

Head over here to grab the pre-sale link (release date 8th June) and go give Dusty Ohms a follow on Facebook, Instagram and Soundcloud.
