Having the opportunity to connect with passionate, likeminded people is one of the unbelievable perks of running UKBM. One such group is the forward-thinking, SISTER Collective.
SISTER is a bass music movement, a worldwide community, a platform dedicated to incredible music and it’s talented creators (sound familiar?), they host a weekly podcast with guest mixes and interviews from artists such as Novelist, Murder He Wrote, Alison Wonderland, L U C Y and so many more which is streamed on Dash Radio & Kiss FM Australia whilst always, mindfully, using their influence to readdress the gender balance in today’s electronic music scene.
With all this commendable work taken into account it made total sense to connect with Carly Wilford & Shan McGinley who head up the brand and come together to support our common cause, the sharing of damn good music.
Carly & Shan have put together this blinding mini-mix (35 mins) packed with beaut electronic music (Dubstep, Bass, Wave & Breakbeat) in preparation for their set at the El Dorado Festival on Sunday 7th July and have been kind enough to give us the exclusive.
