Mungk – Bhuvar (Duckem Remix) (DUPLOC)

We revisit the Leeds-based producer’s incredible ‘Temple Of Mungk’ album which has been remixed some of the best names in ‘140’ and we exclusively premiere a track

It’s been four month’s since Mungk’s debut album and it’s time to revisit the ‘temple’ once again, this time with remixes from some of the best names in the ‘140’ scene.

Temple Of Mungk (The Remixes) features six reworks from JahYu, Duckem, Pharma, Oddkut, Dubbing Sun & Subtle Mind and will once again be released in collaboration with Belgium-based label DUPLOC and their DUPLOC ROYALS arm of the imprint.

The original album was met with high acclaim and followed a vivid narrative of a monk on a journey from China through the Middle East, the subcontinent and Africa, cleverly sampling authentic instrumentation and sonics from each country he passes through to create a geographically accurate expedition.

This remixes project does a fantastic job of staying faithful to the original work whilst also showcasing the exciting sound and talent of all producers involved and is proving to be a very worthy and very heavy accompaniment.

Today we are very to happy the huge remix of track Bhuvar which features Athens-based artist Duckem on production duties. We know you’ll be feeling this one!

Temple of Mungk (The Remixes) is out 28th September. Buy here.
