Oldboy – Get Em Up (Gimme A Break Records)

Oldboy is set to release his second EP on Gimme A Break Records.

Entitled Mule Kick EP, it follows last year’s The Box EP and catches the Sheffield-based producer in familiar fine form, jam-packed with wall to wall Breaks, 4×4 & some Electro goodness provided by Pépé Elle on remix duties.

Leeds-based label Gimme A Break Records have been releasing music since 2020 with a particular focus on UKG & Breaks, something they have excelled in and continue to prove themselves as a label to keep a close eye on.

Today we premiere opening track Get Em Up, which can only be described as a rolling breakbeat whopper which delights with it’s chopped samples and scratching and it’s dancefloor credentials are clear to see & hear.
