Sam Binga & Marcus Visionary get Funky on Hotline Recordings

Latest Hotline Recordings offering throws it back to 2009.

Those who were going to the right clubs in and round 2009 were dancing to what was then London’s newest sound, UK Funky.

Sam Binga & Marcus Visionary pay homage to that sound with their new single on Hotline Recordings.

Title track Doubles sounds like it has been plucked from 10 years ago. Calypso drum patterns, skanking basslines and carnival vibes. Everything you would want from a Funky track executed perfectly.

Other tracks One More Time and Nexx move slightly away from the tradition funky sound whilst still keeping its essence and both are excellent. Nexx especially intersting with clear techno influences.

This ones not to be missed! Cop it here
