Here at UKBM, Bop is a firm favourite.
Since his 2009 debut album, Clear Your Mind, his music has absolutely delighted us and has since grown over the last decade with 3 more albums and many more EP’s and singles, primarily on legendary UK Drum & Bass label Hospital Records and its now sadly defunct sister label Med School as well as his own Microfunk imprint.
His music certainly sits on the experimental side, melding influences and sonics of Drum and Bass, IDM, Ambience, Minimalism and more, creating something completely unique and original whilst still retaining completely relatable, emotional and utterly wonderful.
Today we are very happy to share with you a new and exclusive mix from the man himself which serves as number 57 in our UKBMix series. Talking about the mix, Bop said, “This mix is a slice of music I enjoy listening to at the moment plus a couple of my recent tunes”.
