V.I.V.E.K is set to release his brand new project Colours EP on his own eponymous label, VIVEK.
It marks the second release on the imprint following 2019’s Different Sound / Galactic, which was also the System Music owner’s last release, making this new project an eagerly anticipated return.
Comprised of four sonically varied tracks, Colours EP is worth the wait. A truly accomplished body of work by a master of his trade, expertly exploring broken beat, ambience, melody and rhythm at 140 bpm.
Talking about his new EP, V.I.V.E.K says, “The main focus of this release is to take me way out of my comfort zone. I wanted to work with musicians as well as push myself to inhabit new creative ideas.”
