For this weeks premiere, we take a look at one of the busiest and baddest labels around right now as they welcome to the fold, two rising stars in the UKG scene and their brand new project.
Of course we are talking about London-based Frankel & Harper and their forthcoming Tortilla Flex EP on the Breaks ‘N’ Pieces imprint.
The duo have gone strength to strength over the last couple of years since the first release on their Council Work label, 2019’s Trimmers EP which featured their own productions alongside a remix from Instinct and fully announced their name on the scene.
More acclaimed releases, both together and solo, have cemented themselves amongst the best names in UKG right now and their new work on Breaks ‘N’ Pieces only cements that further.
The Lobster Theremin sub-label has been in a rich vein of form since starting last year, with a slew of high quality releases from the likes of Warwick, Stones Taro, Harrison BDP, Denham Audio and many more.
Today we are hyped to share with you the opening title track from the EP, a super slick 2-step jam, seeping at the seams with blissful synths and enough bubbly vibes to keep anyone happy!
Tortilla Flex is out 22nd October. Buy here.
