After several well received releases on his own Hectare Discs label since it’s inception in 2019 as well as releases such as Repertoire & Accidental Meetings, producer WDDS is readying himself for the next one.
Entitled Grapefruit EP, it’s an absolutely wicked two tracker which superbly showcases two different sides of the Manchester-based artist’s production and has already been getting DJ support from the likes of Om Unit, Mantra, Midland, Etch & more.
Today we premiere for you the title track Grapefruit, a huge track that perfectly melds the percussive sounds of Africa with sub heavy jungle to create something deeply atmospheric & meditative whilst still remaining completely translatable to the dancefloor….and if you listen to our monthly Subtle Radio shows, you would have definitely heard us play it!
