Based in the creative melting pot of South London, Sub:Clef is a record label run by Cid Poitier which explores the blurred genre boundaries of early Dubstep, Neo Soul, Electronica and Dub.
Since its inception in 2017, the label has exclusively boasted releases from Cid himself, this all changes with the newest and fifth output.
It’s a 4 track EP called N.O.T.E.S and features 2 tracks from Norwegian Dubstep legends Dubwoofa as well as 2 remixes of Cid’s tracks by the incredible up and coming producer JFO.
UKBM are very happy to premiere one of those remixes for your listening pleasure. Entitled Circles, the track is haunting, subtle and highly musical. Combining gorgeous piano keys, a slightly off kilter break and a blissful bassline, this is an undeniably beautiful piece of music with a welcome touch of darkness.
